| Overview of Organisation |
| Aim and Activities: We are a small club located in the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands. Our flying field is close to Aviemore; see the "Visitor's Info" page on our website. We fly both fixed wing models and helicopters from our beautiful field on the Rothiemurchus Estate, courtesy of John Grant, the Laird of Rothiemurchus. The local hills provide plenty of glider soaring slopes for the more energetic. We can fly waterplanes from nearby Loch Insh.
We welcome visitors and would ask all visitors to first contact the chairman (details on the "Contact Us" page). He will be glad to assist you and will be able to advise you on how to find suitable accommodation if you fancy a flying (and/or family) holiday in the Cairngorms National Park. |
